1. Introduction

Welcome to Sevak AI ("the App", "we", "us", "our"). Sevak AI is a civic help platform that enables residents of Dombivli to report local issues, track their resolution, and access information about nearby essential services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App independently. Users between 13–18 may use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
You must have a valid Indian mobile phone number to register.
The App currently serves the Dombivli area and selected localities. Service availability may expand in the future.

3. Account Registration & Security

3.1 Registration

You register using your phone number and a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS.
You must provide your real name and select your locality during profile setup.
Each phone number can be linked to only one account.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and phone number.
Do not share your OTP with anyone. We will never ask for your OTP via call, SMS, email, or any other channel.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during registration and when filing reports.
Providing false identity information may lead to account suspension.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 What You May Do

Report genuine civic issues (e.g., road damage, garbage accumulation, water supply problems, drainage issues, streetlight outages).
Upload relevant photos of issues to support your report.
Use the chatbot to find nearby hospitals, police stations, government offices, and their contact details.
Track the status of your reported issues.

4.2 What You Must NOT Do

You agree not to use Sevak AI to:

Violation	Description
File false reports	Submitting fake, misleading, or exaggerated complaints with the intent to deceive or waste resources.
Upload harmful content	Uploading photos or text that are obscene, violent, defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal.
Spam or abuse	Filing duplicate reports, mass-submitting frivolous complaints, or flooding the system.
Harass or threaten	Using the platform to target, threaten, or harass any individual, official, or organization.
Impersonate others	Pretending to be someone else or registering with someone else's phone number.
Exploit the system	Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit vulnerabilities in the App or its APIs.
Commercial use	Using the platform for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.

4.3 Consequences of Violations

We reserve the right to:

Remove any report, photo, or content that violates these Terms.
Suspend your account temporarily for first-time or minor violations.
Permanently ban your account for repeated or severe violations.
Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities as required.

Account suspension decisions are at our sole discretion. You may appeal a suspension by contacting us at [support email/phone].

5. Reports & Issue Resolution

5.1 Role of Sevak AI

Sevak AI acts as a reporting and information platform. We facilitate the reporting of civic issues and provide information about local services.
We do not directly resolve civic issues. Reports may be forwarded to relevant municipal authorities, government bodies, or service providers.

5.2 No Guarantee of Resolution

We make no guarantees regarding:
- The time taken to resolve a reported issue.
- Whether a reported issue will be resolved at all.
- The quality or completeness of any resolution.
Resolution depends on the relevant municipal or government authority. Sevak AI is a bridge, not the service provider.

5.3 Accuracy of Information

Information provided by the chatbot (hospital locations, police stations, phone numbers, government offices) is sourced from publicly available data and may not always be current or accurate.
We strive to keep information up-to-date but do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or reliability.
In case of emergencies, always call the official emergency numbers (Police: 100, Ambulance: 102, Fire: 101).

6. Content Ownership & Licensing

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos, text, and reports you submit through the App ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant Sevak AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Display, store, and process your content within the App.
- Share your content with relevant municipal authorities for issue resolution.
- Use anonymized and aggregated data for analytics and platform improvement.

6.2 Our Content

The App design, logo, name "Sevak AI", software, and all original content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without written permission.

6.3 Removal of Content

You can delete your own reports from the App at any time (subject to technical feasibility).
We may retain anonymized data from deleted reports for statistical purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 "As Is" Service

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7.2 Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

Sevak AI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We are not responsible for any actions or inactions by municipal authorities, government bodies, or third-party service providers.
We are not liable for any loss resulting from reliance on information provided by the chatbot or the App.

7.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sevak AI, its developers, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the App, or any content you submit.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for maps, analytics, OTP delivery, and AI-powered chatbot functionality.
Your interaction with these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services.

9. Modifications to the App & Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, you will be notified within the App.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may delete your account.

10. Termination

By You: You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time via Settings → Legal → Delete My Account.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data deletion will follow our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussion.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement
